Kristie Sosnowski is the only member of the women's lacrosse program to ever be named an NCAA Statistical Champion, earning the award for draw controls per game in back-to-back seasons.

Through just three seasons with the Lions, Sosnowski amassed 364 draw controls, a number that remains at the top of the record book to this date. She also leads the program in ground balls, totaling 145 on her career, and draw controls per game, averaging 7.58.

In addition, the midfielder ranks second in shots per game (6.17), ground balls per game (3.02), and caused turnovers per game (1.31), fourth in caused turnovers (63), fifth in shots on goal per game (4.17), sixth in goals (117) and goals per game (2.44), fifth in shots (296), and seventh in points (153), points per game (3.19), and shots on goal (200).

Sosnowski also holds the single-season record in ground balls (56), draw controls (147) and draw controls per game (9.29), and ranks in the top-five in single-season points (70), points per game (4.12), shots (144), shots per game (6.71), ground balls per game (3.29),and caused turnovers (26).

In addition, she remains the program's single-game draw control leader, totaling 21 against Saint Anselm in 2009.

In her time as a Lion, Sosnowski was selected as All-Conference First Team on two occasions as well as receiving three All-Region selections by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and was an All-American recipient by WomensLacrosse.com and appeared in the 2010 IWLCA All-Star Game.
