If you look up Kenneth Francis’ name in the Molloy College men’s basketball record book, expect to see it often and frequently.

Francis still holds numerous records, and owned a variety of others for close to 20 years. Currently, the points he scored in a single-campaign rank from second to fourth in three separate seasons. He was the first Lion to ever score 500 and then 600 points in a season, as well as the very first to sink over 200 field goals in a year. Francis still holds the Molloy record for steals in a single season (116) and steals per game (4.3) back in 1993-94.

For his career, Francis held the all-time scoring record for 20 years with 1,685 points. He still has the highest points-per-game average in program history at 20.8, as well as steals per game (3.2). Francis still remains in the top 10 in a variety of categories including: assists, steals, rebounds, and shooting. Francis also became the first male to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.Â
