Frey made an immediate impact on her arrival to Rockville Centre as a member of both the women's tennis and softball programs. She achieved All-East Coast Conference First Team selections in back-to-back seasons for the women's tennis team, helping guide the Lions to two ECC Tournament appearances and the program's first-ever Championship Game. After graduating, Frey was hired as the Head Women's Tennis Coach ahead of the 2015 season. Frey spent three seasons at the helm of the Lions.
On the softball diamond, Frey was a four-time All-ECC First Teamer, led Molloy in batting average three of four seasons, was a key contributor to two NCAA East Regional titles, three ECC titles, and the program's only win in the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. In her tenure in a Lions' uniform, the outfielder was also recognized as All-Region all four seasons by both the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) and was named a two-time All-American by the D2CCA.
To date, Frey remains the program's all-time leader in hits at 311 and is the only person in the program's history to top 300. She ranks in the top-five all-time in batting average (.420), runs scored (181), and on base percentage (.456)
