About the Lions:
  • The Lions enter the last bit of March into April 6-14 on the campaign.
  • Molloy went 1-3 last week, splitting a doubleheader with Bridgeport Thursday, March 26 before falling in two games to Wilmington, Sunday, March 29.
  • In the victory over Bridgeport, senior Mae Savage, junior Stevie Dabbadie, and freshman Ava Zicchinelli collected a hit and an RBI. In the circle, Skyler Secondino picked up the win after pitching a complete game allowing two earned runs on five hits and striking out two. 
Staten Island:
  • The Dolphins enter the week 7-9 overall and 2-0 against ECC opponents.
  • Staten Island went 2-2 last week, falling to Holy Family in a doubleheader Tuesday, March 24 before sweeping Queens Friday, March 27.
  • The squad sports three players hitting .400: Aliveah Warner (.438), Abbie Morris (.425), and Madilyn Paul (.400). Warner leads all hitters with 21 hits, 11 RBI, and seven doubles. In the circle, Marena Grenier has collected five wins and 42 strikeouts.
  • The two programs got together for four games last season with the Lions earning three wins in four contests, most recently a 7-1 triumph April 19, 2025.
  • Molloy is 14-7 all-time against Staten Island.  
Mercy:
  • The Mavericks hold a 6-8 overall record alongside a 2-2 ECC record.
  • Mercy went 3-3 last week, falling to St. Thomas Aquinas in two games Tuesday, March 24, sweeping D'Youville Saturday, March 28 before splitting with Jefferson Sunday, March 29.
  • Averi Miller leads the lineup with 13 hits while Julianna Coluccio tops all players hitting .324 with two home runs and nine RBI. Inside the circle, Juliana Abbene, Lauren McSweeney, Mackayla Secoda have all collected two wins with Secoda leading the trio with 25 strikeouts.
  • In five matchups last season, the Mavericks took all five most recently in the ECC First Round where the Lions fell, 4-3, May 1, 2025.
  • Molloy is 61-25 all-time against Mercy.  
St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans come into the last pieces of March 10-10 overall and 3-1 in league play.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas went 3-3 last week, sweeping Mercy Tuesday, March 24 before splitting with D'Youville and Caldwell Friday, March 27 and Sunday, March 29, respectively.
  • Amongst qualified hitters, Sofia Marella leads the squad hitting .413 with 26 hits, five home runs, and 20 RBI. In the circle, Lauren Falk and Emma Grace Popp has both tallied five wins. Falk leads with a 3.71 while Grace Popp has collected a team-high 49 strikeouts.
  • The Lions and Spartans split their four matchups last season, with the cardinal and white earning a 7-6 win in its most recent matchup April 27, 2025.
  • Molloy is 59-30 against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions come into the week winners of six straight, holding a 15-7 overall record alongside 10-2 conference record.
  • Molloy went 4-0 last week, sweeping Queens in a four-game series that spanned from Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29.
  • On Saturday, junior Charlie Imhof sparked the Lions game one victory with a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth to put the squad ahead, 6-2, en route to the triumph. In game two, Molloy had four innings of scoring at least three runs. Junior Brian Sanchez totaled a four-hit day, highlighted by his first career home run and driving in three and senior Sean Serrano drove in four on the back of a three-run home run. 
Bridgeport:
  • The Purple Knights enter the week 9-14 overall and 5-9 in CACC play.
  • Bridgeport went 0-5 last week, falling to Felician in two games Wednesday, March 25 before slipping to Goldey-Beacom in a three-game series from Saturday, March 28 through Sunday, March 29.
  • Amongst qualified hitters, Patrick Krempasky tops the squad hitting .318 while Anthony Armenia leads with five home runs and 15 RBI. The rotation has seen four players make at least four starts, of the four Christian Walsh leads in innings pitched (20.2), Tyler Hodella tops in strikeouts (20), and Logan McGrath has collected a 4.24 ERA.
  • The two programs met earlier this season in Myrtle Beach, S.C. splitting a doubleheader Friday, February 20.
  • Molloy is 59-32 all-time against Bridgeport.
St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans begin the week 16-6 overall and 7-3 in ECC play.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas went 2-1 last week, taking two-of-three games from Staten Island Sunday, March 29.
  • Nick Oelcher leads the squad hitting .432 while CJ Cumbo tops the lineup with 26 RBI and tying a team high five home runs. Through the rotation, Christian Varela has collected three wins in six starts and James Garcia has totaled five saves.
  • In last season's four matchups, the cardinal and white totaled four victories in a series that played through April 4, 2025 – April 6, 2025.
  • Molloy is 64-48 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Scouting the Lions:
  • Molloy enters the week ranked 13th in the country, holding a 8-2 overall record alongside a 3-0 ECC record.
  • The Lions went 2-0 last week, picking up a 12-11 overtime win at Chestnut Hill Wednesday, March 25 before topping St. Thomas Aquinas, 10-6, Saturday, March 28.
  • Against the Griffins, senior Brian Green and junior Mikey McClain tallied three goals while senior Tommy Corcoron added two goals and an assist. Graduate student Zach Kroog netted his second overtime winner of the season and in goal senior John Basile totaled eight saves.
  • In the win over St. Thomas Aquinas, Green led all scorers with four goals and sophomore Sean Payton netted a career-best two goals. Defensively, graduate student Timothy Morrow picked up a career-high six ground balls to go along with a career-best four caused turnovers.
Post:
  • The Eagles hoist a 7-3 record and are 3-2 in CACC play.
  • Post went 2-0 last week, topping Chowan, 9-8, Tuesday, March 24 and Dominican, 12-7, Saturday, March 28.
  • With 25 goals and 11 assists, Leighton Cooke leads the team with 36 points while Ryan Denike leads the squad with 20 assists and second with 33 points. In net, Aiden Waller leads with 80 saves and a 9.35 GAA. Defensively, Gavin Lee has caused a team-high 27 turnovers while Kegan Swain has picked up 44 ground balls while winning 53 percent of his faceoffs.
  • The two teams met last season in Connecticut with the Lions earning a 10-6 triumph March 15, 2025.
  • Molloy is 8-0 all-time against Post. 
D'Youville:
  • The Saints come into the week 7-3 overall and 2-1 against ECC foes.
  • D'Youville fell to Frostburg State last week, 14-6, Saturday, March 28.
  • Obrigh Tallchief tops the team in points (36), goals (25), shots (73), shots on goal (49), and shots on goal percentage (67%).
  • The two teams got together in Rockville Centre last season as the Lions came away with a 24-4 victory March 29, 2025.
  • Molloy is 4-0 all-time against D'Youville.

  • Molloy heads into the week 3-7 overall and 0-2 in East Coast Conference play.
  • The Lions went 0-2 last week, falling to 19th ranked Mercy, 18-6, Wednesday, March 25 and Daemen, 12-10, Saturday, March 28.
UDC:
  • The Firebirds hold a 0-7 overall record and are 0-3 in league play.
  • UDC went 0-1 last week, falling to Roberts Wesleyan, 21-0, Thursday, March 26.
  • Jada Williams leads all scorers with six goals and seven points while Gabriela Martinez tops the squad with three assists.
  • In last year's meeting in Rockville Centre, the Lions triumphed, 18-1, March 29, 2025.
  • Molloy is 10-0 all-time against UDC.
Track and Field

Introducing Molloy:
  • The Lions put together a split squad weekend last week, with the women's team competing at the Ramapo Invitational while the men competed at the Monmouth Home Opener.
  • The women's team was led by a trio of program records. Freshman Cameron Campo earned first in the 400-meter running a program-record time of 58.58, senior Kathleen Healy ran a 17:33.33 in the 5000-meter besting the record by over 16 seconds in a third-place showing, and graduate student Marie Naudus crossed the line in sixth-place in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:42.15.
  • On the men's side, junior Jurrell Hall took home first-place in the long jump with a leap of 6.6 meters and earned a second-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 14.29 meters.
  • The day was capped in the 4x400 as Michael Jones, Brandon Fustanio, Jeovanny Villatoro and Jason Ferguson ran to a second-place finish with a time of 3:37.09.
