Following the victories, the Lions improve to 14-7 overall and 9-2 in East Coast Conference play, while the Knights move to 4-14 overall and 1-8 in league play.

In the eighth, the cardinal and white once again loaded the bases with no outs in search to break the contest open. Junior Charlie Imhof would be up to the task, as he would connect and belt a grand slam over the left field fence to give Molloy a four-run lead, 6-2.

Graduate student JC Kiss started the contest, tossing five innings allowing two runs, one earned, three hits and striking out a career-high eight.
Game Two: Molloy 16, Queens 3

The cardinal and white used a six-run bottom of the sixth to put a bow on the afternoon. It started when Sanchez connected for a solo home run that snuck inside the right field foul pole. Later in the inning Serrano and freshman John Franco tallied a ground-rule double each, Serrano brought in one run while Franco drove in a pair.
