The East Coast Conference announced its annual Men's Soccer Preseason Poll this afternoon, with Molloy finishing in fourth place.

Queens was selected as the preseason favorite with eight out of the nine first place votes and a total of 80 points. Mercy was second with 70 points, the University of the District of Columbia followed in third with 51 points, and Molloy was selected fourth, earning a total of 48 points.  D'Youville was selected fifth with 47 points and one first place vote. Roberts Wesleyan and St. Thomas Aquinas were selected sixth and seventh with 43 and 36 points respectively. Staten Island (18) and Daemen (12) rounded out the poll in the eight and nine spots.

The Lions return with five upperclassman and 13 total players from the 2025 roster that reached the East Coast Conference Final last season. Second year Head Coach Chris Megaloudis brings in 15 new student-athletes to Rockville Centre.

The cardinal and white open its season against Saint Anselm Thursday (Sept. 5) at RVC Sports Complex. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
