The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Division Two Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released its All-Region teams and major award winners for the 2025 season this afternoon. Junior

James Sill were named to the All-Region First Team, while graduate student
Ryan Hynes was named to the All-Region Second Team.
Sill has made an immediate impact in his first season in Rockville Centre. Alongside earning ECC Pitcher of the Year and All-ECC First Team honors, the right-hander adds an All-Region First Team to his resume. The sophomore tops the East Coast Conference and is third nationally with a 1.52 ERA, fourth in WHIP (.89), and tied for second in league lead with five wins. The Levittown native collected five Pitcher of the Week honors throughout the season while totaling two complete games and an ECC leading 67 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of work.
After Welsh garnered is first career All-ECC First Team selection, the junior collects his first career All-Region distinction after a breakout 2025. The designated hitter provides speed and power atop the Lions order, smashing 15 home runs on the campaign to set a new Molloy single season record and lead the ECC. The East Meadow native sports a .335 average totaling 65 hits while leading the league with 68 runs scored, 58 RBI, and 29 stolen bases.
Hynes tallies his first career All-Region honor after tallying his first career All-ECC First Team honor in his final season in Rockville Centre. The lefty has won five of his last six starts, totaling a perfect 6-0 record entering the NCAA East Regional. The graduate student boasts a 3.78 ERA through 66.2 innings of action and is eighth in the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.40).
