For the first time this season, the Molloy women's bowling team is receiving votes in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Poll.
Through the first half of the season, the Lions hold a 26-13 overall record while competing in five events. In those five, the keglers have marked three top-five finishes including a season-high third-place at the Golden Bear Invite.
At the Golden Bear Invite, the cardinal and white collected 8,888 pins en route to averaging 174.3 across 51 games. The keglers saw three members of the squad finish in the top-30 in individual play, led by senior
Emily Kulkarni who placed 18
th rolling a 863 five-game set to average 172.6. Junior
Kaitlyn Warren finished two pins behind in 20
th place, with a 861 five-game set and sophomore
Ilana Kaplan rounded out the team in 26
th totaling 825 pins through five games.
Molloy is one of 10 division two programs recognized in the poll and will return to the lanes to compete at the Northeast Classic from Friday, Janaury 16 through Sunday, January 18. To see the complete list of the top-25
