Saint Anselm:
  • The Hawks come into the week ranked sixth in the country, holding a 11-3 overall record and 7-2 in Northeast-10 play.
  • Saint Anselm went 2-0 last week, taking down Saint Michael's, 4-0, Wednesday, October 11 and New Haven, 4-1, Saturday, October 14.
  • Five players on the squad have topped 10 points on the season; Maddie Davis (22), Abbey Bevens (15), Amanda Lewandowski (15), Marissa Politano (10), and Ava Rayfield (10).
  • The Lions dropped its contest to the Hawks, 10-0, last season on November 5, 2022.
  • Molloy is 0-3 all-time against Saint Anselm.

Concerning the Lions:
  • Molloy enters the week 2-9-3 overall and 1-3-1 in East Coast Conference play.
  • The Lions went 0-2 last week, falling to Southern New Hampshire, 4-3, Wednesday, October 11 and #24 Mercy, 1-0, Saturday, October 14.
  • Against the Penmen, senior Andy Blanco, junior Diogo Ferreira and sophomore Colin Gervasi netted goals. 
D'Youville:
  • The Saints hold a 0-9 overall record and are 0-4 in conference play.
  • D'Youville went 0-1 last week, falling to UDC, 2-0, Saturday, October 14.
  • Finn Savage paces the squad with three points (one goal and one assist).
  • The Lions defeated the Saints, 6-0, last season on October 22, 2022.
  • Molloy is 2-0 all-time against D'Youville.
Queens:
  • The Knights are 6-5-2 overall and 3-2 in league play.
  • Queens went 1-1 last week, falling to Adelphi, 4-3, Wednesday, October 11, but defeating Roberts Wesleyan, 4-3, Saturday, October 14.
  • Harry Cooke leads the Knights attack with 17 points (seven goals and three assists) while Adolfo Martinez Pacquet is third in the country with 10 assists.
  • The two teams met last season on October 1, 2022, with the Lions edging the Knights, 2-1.
  • Molloy is 6-9-1 all-time against Queens.

  • Macy Brown leads the squad at the net with 231 kills, Michelle Henwood has totaled 543 assists (8.35 per set), and Katherine Rank and Kylie Reynolds-Martin has tallied 25 blocks apiece.
  • The Lions defeated the Chargers, 3-0, a season ago on August 27, 2022.

About Molloy:
  • The Lions return to the ECC Championship after placing third (men) and fourth (women) a season ago.
  • The men return to the course after running at the NJIT Highlander Challenge (Oct. 7) where they finished fourth.

  • Molloy began its season last weekend at the Bud Whitman Memorial Tournament, hosted by Chestnut Hill.
