On the Lions:
  • Molloy went 1-0-1 last week to improve to 2-1-3 overall and 1-0 in ECC play.
  • The Lions tied Felician, 2-2, Tuesday, September 6, and beat CSI, 2-0, Saturday, September 10. 
  • In the tie against the Golden Falcons, after being down, 2-0, at halftime, Molloy tallied two goals in the second half from sophomores Gio Fabiano and Sean Salgueiro.
  • In the victory over CSI, junior Jonas Jacobsen netted a penalty kick and Fabiano scored his second goal of the week to earn Molloy its first conference win of the season.
Adelphi: 
  • The Panthers are 2-1-2 overall and 0-1 in NE10 play.
  • Adelphi played to a, 1-1, draw against Dominican Tuesday, September 6, and fell to Southern New Hampshire, 2-0, Saturday, September 10.
  • Victor Castel and Rodrigo Descalzo Rocca pace the team with five goals each.
  • Adelphi defeated Molloy, 3-1, in last season's meeting on September 14, 2021.
  • The Lions are 0-6 all-time against the Panthers.
STAC:
  • The Spartans are 2-1-2 overall and 0-0-1 in ECC play.
  • STAC drew with Chestnut Hill, 3-3, Wednesday, September 7 and battled to a tie with Roberts Wesleyan, 5-5, Saturday, September 10. 
  • Jorge Umana leads the East Coast Conference with seven goals.
  • Molloy defeated STAC in last season's ECC Final in penalty kicks to capture the programs first title since 2008.
  • The Lions are 10-7-3 all-time against the Spartans.

About Molloy:
  • The #15 Lions went 1-1 last week to improve to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
  • Molloy fell to Wilmington, 2-1, Wednesday, September 15, and beat CSI, 5-0, Saturday September 10.
  • Sophomore Natalia Piotrowski tallied her second goal of the season, and senior Sienna Nicolich recorded an assist against the Wildcats.
  • Against the Dolphins, Nicolich netted two goals, freshman Mikaela Barriga scored her second goal of the season, and graduate student Morgan Camarda totaled her first goal as a Lion and an assist.
Bridgeport:
  • The Purple Knights hold a 2-3 overall record and are 1-0 in CACC play.
  • Bridgeport took down Chestnut Hill, 8-0, Saturday September 10.
  • Kate Thill leads the team with seven points (three goals and one assist)
  • Molloy defeated Bridgeport in their last meeting, 2-1, November 18, 2021 in the NCAA East Regional.
  • The Lions are 6-21-3 all-time against the Purple Knights.
STAC:
  • The Spartans are 1-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play on the 2022 campaign.
  • STAC defeated Alliance University, 2-0, Wednesday, September 7, and fell to Roberts Wesleyan, 3-2, Saturday, September 10.
  • Natalie Oden leads the offense with two goals.
  • Molloy triumphed against STAC, 6-0, in their last meeting November 6, 2021.
  • The Lions are 25-0-1 all-time against the Spartans.
 
Women's Tennis (0-2)
Friday, September 16 at New Haven – 3:00 p.m.

Concerning Molloy:
  • Women's tennis kicked off their 2022 season last week.
  • Molloy fell to Adelphi, 7-0, Friday, September 9, and to Jefferson, 7-0, Sunday, September 11.
  • Sophomore Noor Goyvaerts battled in the No. 1 singles match against Jefferson and forced an exciting match to an 7-5, 7-5 loss.
New Haven:
  • New Haven is 1-0 on the season.
  • The Chargers defeated Saint Michael's, 7-0, Saturday, September 10.
  • Molloy is 3-9 all-time against New Haven.
Cross Country
Friday, September 16 at the Kutztown DII/DIII Challenge – 5:00 p.m. – Kutztown, PA
 
About the Lions: 
  • Molloy is back in action after running at the Adelphi Panthers Invitational on Friday, September 2.
  • Sophomore Kaitlyn Mohr paced the cardinal and white, running a time of 19:45.2 and finishing in fifth-place.
  • On the men's side, sophomore Aiden Watson led the Lions with a 12th-place, 27:26.2 performance.

  • The Lions are 1-0 overall on the season after beginning the 2022 campaign last week.
  • Molloy defeated Southern Connecticut University, 3-2, Saturday, September 10.
  • Against SCSU, sophomore Devin Harkins netted her first two goals of her Molloy career, and freshman Dayanna Ortiz tallied her first goal sporting the cardinal and white.
Millersville:
  • The Marauders are 4-0 overall on the season.
  • Millersville defeated Adelphi, 5-2, Thursday, September 8 and Newberry, 2-0, Sunday, September 11.
  • Kate Strickland leads the attack with five goals on the season.
  • This is the first matchup between the two programs.
