Representatives from both the men's and women's track and field program had a stand out weekend at the historic Penn Relays this past weekend. The men's 4x100-meter, men's 4x400-meter, and women's 4x100-meter relay teams each advanced to the finals in their respective events.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team of sophomore
Raymar Duncan, juniors
Stanley Louis and
David Crews, and senior
Mark Siebenhuener ran a time of 42.25 to punch their ticket to the finals while setting a new program record in the process. The finals saw a fifth-place finish at 42.65.
The women's 4x100-meter relay team of freshmen Leanne Robinson,
Kimberly Gonzalez,
Tricia Danso, and sophomore
Sophia Hines also secured a spot in the finals and established a new program record with a time of 47.94. In the finals, the team ran a time of 48.48, good for third-place.
The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Duncan, Siebenhuener, freshman
Ryan Lepre, and senior
Christian Canela locked in a spot in the finals with a time of 3:19.92. The team placed seventh in the finals with a time of 3:23.68.
Also on the opening day of the meet, the women's 4x200-meter relay team of Richardson, Danso, Hines, and freshman
Cameron Campo established a new program record time of 1:42.97.
The entire Lions squads will head to Rochester, N.Y. for the 2026 East Coast Conference Championships on Thursday (Apr. 30).
