The outdoor track and field programs had a successful outing at the 2026 East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, hosted at the Roberts Stadium in Rochester, N.Y. yesterday. The men's team earned 117 points for third-place while the women's team tallied 84 points and took fourth-place.
Highlighting the day were eight event winners, led by senior
Kathleen Healy who not only won both the 5000-meter (18:15.28) and 10000-meter (38:12.21) races, but her 10000 time was good enough to set an ECC Championship meet record. Joining her in event wins on the women's side were graduate student
Marie Naudus in the 1500-meter (4:41.24), sophomore
Carli Sheiffele in the 3000-meter steeplechase (11:40.63) and the 4x100-meter relay team of freshmen
Tricia Danso,
Kimberly Gonzalez,
Leanne Richardson, and sophomore
Sophia Hines (48.17).
The men's side saw event wins from sophomore
Raymar Duncan in the 400-meter (49.65), junior
Jurrel Hall in the triple jump (14.11), and the 4x400-meter relay team of Duncan, freshman
Ryan Lepre, and seniors
Mark Siebenhuener and
Christian Canela (3:20.76).
Freshman
Dom Inzerilla placed first in his qualifying heat of the 100-meter, setting a new program-record in the process with a time of 10.85.
