Staten Island, N.Y. - For the third time this season, the Molloy indoor track and field programs walked away from a meet with three new program records after Saturday's performance at the Wagner Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
The men's weight throw record was bested for the third-straight meet with freshman
Djurabe Edmond recording a throw of 14.18 meters, placing 11th overall. The freshman also recorded a mark of 11.80 meters in the shot put.Â
Senior
Kathleen Healy continued her hot start to the season, setting a record for the third-straight meet, running the 5000-meter in a time of 18:07.92. The mark, which was first among Division II competitors, bested the previous record (which also belonged to Healy) by over 20 seconds.Â
Graduate student
Marie Naudus also reclaimed a record she set earlier in the season, knocking seven seconds off her 3000-meter time at 10:11.06 for a third-place finish.
The Lions also saw personal-best performances from the following:

- Freshman Martina Mileti (mile, 5:23.95)
- Freshman Kate Mejia (mile, 6:39.07)
- Freshman Brooke Hyland (400-meter, 1:00.95, 200-meter, 27.26)
- Sophomore Madison Ford (400-meter, 1:07.26; 200-meter, 28:49)

Both programs are back in action this coming weekend at the Dr. Sander Scorcher Invitational (Jan. 23-24), hosted by Columbia University at The Armory at 10:00 a.m.
