  • The Lions come into the week 1-6 overall and 0-3 in Northeast-10 play.
  • Molloy went 0-2 last week, falling to Mercy, 2-0, Wednesday, September 24 and Saint Anselm, 8-0, Saturday, September 27
Pace:
  • The Setters enter the final week of September 2-6 overall and 2-2 in league play.
  • Pace went 1-1 last week, falling to Adelphi, 2-1, Wednesday, September 24 before defeating AIC, 2-0, Saturday, September 27.
  • Kyleigh Kearney paces the team with nine points (four goals and on assist) and 20 shots on goal.

St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans enter week 2-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas went 1-1 last week, falling to AIC, 1-0, Wednesday, September 24, but came back to defeat Saint Michael's, 2-1, Saturday, September 27.
  • The offense is led by Clemence Papleux (five goals two assists) and who has collected 12 points, while Ailsa Ogilvie has made 85 saves in net.
  • The Lions took down the Spartans, 3-2, in Sparkill last season October 29, 2024.
  • Molloy is 3-8 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Concerning the Lions:
  • Molloy comes into the week 4-2-2 overall and 1-0-1 in East Coast Conference play.
  • The Lions went 2-0 last week, defeating Staten Island, 4-0, Wednesday, September 24 and Georgian Court, 5-0, Saturday, September 27.
  • In the win over the Dolphins, senior Olivia Ingenito netted a pair of goals and junior Isabella Muro dished out three assists tying a career-high.
  • Against Georgian Court, Molloy saw five different players found the back of the net: graduate student Emma Beattie, senior Mikaela Barriga, Jana Strait, Ingenito and Muro.
  • Senior Abigail Smith handed out two assists, collected her first points of her collegiate career. 
Pace:
  • The Setters hold a 3-3 overall record and 0-2 in conference play.
  • Pace went 1-1 last week, topping Queens, 7-0, Tuesday, September 23 before falling to Franklin Pierce, 2-1, Friday, September 26.
  • Ava Viebrock tops the squad with nine points, netting four goals and totaling one assist.
  • The two programs will meet for the first time since October 13, 2021, where the Lions triumphed, 3-1, in Pleasantville.
  • Molloy is 2-1 all-time against Pace.
St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans are 0-6 overall and 0-1 in league play.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas returns to the pitch this week after not seeing action since September 20 where they fell to Daemen, 3-0.
  • Amelia Hammond, Ninni Ringstad, and Sophie Stanley have totaled six shots with three coming on goal each. In goal, the Spartans sport Madison Lepage and Catalena Robson who have collected 24 and 22 saves, respectively.
  • The Lions topped the Spartans, 5-0, last season in Sparkill October 19, 2024.
  • Molloy is 28-0-1 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions come into the tail end of September 1-2-3 overall and 0-0-1 in East Coast Conference competition.
  • Molloy opened ECC play last week playing to a 1-1 draw at Staten Island Saturday, September 27.
  • Against the Dolphins, freshman Danu Kinsella Bishop tallied his first career goal and sophomore Callum Hunt made four saves.
Mercy:
  • The Mavericks enter the week 2-3-2 overall and 0-1-1 in league play.
  • Mercy went 0-1 last week, falling to Queens, 3-2, Saturday, September 27.
  • With six points off two goals and two assists Mario de Roque Zazon leads the team while Mateo Bacigalupo tops the squad with three assists.
  • The Lions and Mavericks met last season in Rockville Centre with the two teams drawing, 2-2, October 2, 2024.
  • Molloy is 8-12-4 all-time against Mercy.
St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans are 3-2-2 overall and 2-0 in ECC competition.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas went 1-0 last week, topping UDC, 3-0, Saturday, September 27.
  • With six goals and four assists, Kevon Evans leads the squad with 16 points and a 50 percent shots on goal percentage totaling 17 shots on goal in 34 shots.
  • The two squads last met in Sparkill October 19, 2024 playing to a 2-2 draw.
  • Molloy is 10-8-5 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas.

About the Lions:
  • Molloy will October at home holding a 9-4 overall record and 2-0 in ECC play.
  • The Lions went 2-0 last week in its Western New York road trip, topping Daemen, 3-1, Saturday September 27 and D'Youville, 3-2, Sunday, September 28.
  • Against the Wildcats, junior Erin Stanley topped the Lions with 14 kills, graduate student Julia Zalta notched her first career triple-double totaling 19 assists, 13 kills, and 10 digs, and junior Hyaden Riddle led with 21 assists.
  • At D'Youville, freshman Haven Trechter led the team with 13 kills, adding seven digs, sophomore Isabella Rios collected a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs and senior Aria Miller put up 14 digs, seven assists, and an ace.
Queens:
  • The Knights come into the week 6-9 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
  • Queens went 0-2 in their Western New York road trip, falling to Daemen and D'Youville, 3-0, Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28.
  • Kylynn White tops the team with 161 kills, Jayna Marie Lorenzo leads with 259 assists, and at the net Maya Angelova has collected 49 blocks.
  • The Knights swept the Lions in their pair of matchups last season, most recently a 3-0 defeat October 24, 2024.
  • Molloy is 28-35 all-time against Queens.
Southern Connecticut State:
  • The Owls hoist a 7-3 overall record.
  • Southern Connecticut State went 2-0 last week, picking up a pair of 3-1 victories over Felician and Assumption Saturday, September 27.
  • Kerrigan Habing leads the offense with 116 kills, Kimi Mitchell has handed out a team-high 189 assists, and the defense at the net is led by Sydney Bennett with 28 blocks.
  • The two squads last met October 29, 2023 with the Lions coming away with a 3-0 victory in New Haven, Conn.
  • Molloy is 20-18 all-time against Southern Connecticut.
Sprint Football (1-1)
Friday, October 3 at Army – 7:00 p.m. – West Point, N.Y.
 
Concerning Molloy:
  • The Lions will begin October 1-1.
  • Molloy made history last week, picking up the programs first ever win, 16-6, over Cornell Friday, September 26.
  • In the contest, senior Paulie Drummond V threw for 108 yards, rushed for 106 yards while picking up a touchdown on the ground and in the air.
  • Senior Peter von Schoenermarck paced the squad with four catches for 62 yards.
  • Freshman Aydan Das led the defense with eight tackles, including four solo tackles and two quarterback hurries and sophomores Max Kraemer and Joseph Spano each had six tackles.
Army:
  • The Black Knights are 1-0 on the young campaign.
  • Army returns to the field for the first time since its opening contest at Chestnut Hill where they picked up a 27-21 victory Friday, September 19.
  • Kyle West leads the squad with 140 passing yards and one touchdown; JP Ross tops the squad with 99 rushing yards and Parker William leads the receiving core with 61 yards on seven catches.
  • In last season's inaugural matchup, the Lions fell, 63-7, to the Black Knights November 8, 2024.
Cross Country
Friday, October 3 at Paul Short Invitational – Bethlehem, PA – 9:30 a.m.
 
Introducing the Lions:
  • Molloy returns to the course for the first time since running at the Purple Valley Classic September 20, 2024.
  • At the meet, the men's team place fourth while the women's team placed fifth.
  • The women's team was led by sophomore Carli Sheiffele who finished the 6K with a time of 25:20.6.
  • On the men's side, senior James Nichol led the way with a 8k time of 28:47.8.
