After running in the Paul Short Invitational this past weekend, the cardinal and white received two major awards from the East Coast Conference. Senior Kathleen Healy was named the Women's Runner of the Week, and freshman Anthony Baldasano was named the Men's Rookie of the Week.

Healy made her season debut this past Friday (Oct. 3) at the Paul Short Invitational and did not disappoint. Healy led the Lions with a 13th-place finish, running a time of 23:25.2, earning 12 points for the team. In addition to helping the team succeed, Healy managed to run a personal best 6k time in her debut. 

Baldasano made his collegiate debut this past Friday (Oct. 3) at the Paul Short Invitational. It was an extremely successful race for Baldasano as he led the way for the Lions, running 27:31.2, earning points for the team in his debut.
