Softball Earns Three First-Team All-Conference Selections

The East Coast Conference announced its softball All-Conference and post season awards for the 2025 season. Three members of the cardinal and white were tabbed among the league's best: seniors Cheralyn Dusharme (First Team, catcher) and Natalie Moussa (First Team, designated player), and sophomore Stevie Dabbadie (First Team, utility pitcher).

Dusharme, a four-year member of the team, has earned conference recognition in each of the past two seasons, being tabbed to Second Team in both 2023 and 2024. In her final season wearing cardinal and white, the senior has started 46 games, primarily behind the plate. Defensively, she has thrown out eight base runners and enters the postseason with a .979 fielding percentage, 124 putouts, and 16 assists. At the plate, she has tallied 46 hits, including 11 multi-hit games, and has recorded a hit in 33 contests. Dusharme has driven in 28 runs, scored 24 times, added 10 doubles, and recorded a career-high four home runs to her season totals.

Moussa earns her first All-Conference honor in her final season with the team. The senior has started all 48 games this year and leads the squad in several offensive categories, including batting average (.366), runs scored (34), hits (59), home runs (8), and RBIs (37). She has also tallied 14 doubles and drawn 11 walks, rounding out a standout campaign at the plate. Moussa recorded a 24-game hit streak during the season, has registered at least one hit in 41 of 48 games, and posted 15 multi-hit performances.

Dabbadie earns her second consecutive First Team All-Conference selection after a standout all-around season. She has thrown 161.1 innings in the circle while also contributing defensively with 29 games at first base, all while serving as a key at bat in the Lions' lineup. She enters the postseason with a .990 fielding percentage, totaling 128 putouts and 68 assists. In the circle, her 37 appearances has resulted in a 12-16 record and a 4.34 ERA to go with 75 strikeouts. She has thrown six complete games, two shutouts, and earned one save during the season. She recorded a career-high six strikeouts against Bridgeport (Apr. 17). At the plate, Dabbadie has a .366 batting average with 51 hits, including 17 doubles, three home runs, and 30 RBIs, along with 24 runs scored. She has drawn five walks, stolen three bases, and recorded a hit in 32 games, 13 of which were multi-hit performances, and includes two contests with a season-high four hits.
