The outdoor track and field team split up this week, with the distance runners competing at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College while the sprinters and field competitors were at the Wilton Wright Invite hosted by Southern Connecticut State University.

Both squads had some personal-best performances set this weekend:

• Senior Sabrina Spezia (5000m, 17:50.42)
• Freshman Carli Sheiffele (steeplechase, 11:41.53)
• Senior Christian Canela (100m, 11.22)
• Freshman Kenderick Danso (200m, 23.65)
• Freshman Guymike Paraison (400m, 55.78)
• Freshman Kamar Birthwright (400mH, 1:04.79)

The teams will both be back in action on Saturday (Apr. 19) at the Rider Invitational from Lawrenceville, N.J.
