For the second-straight week, the indoor track and field program saw three new records set following the Seahawk Shootout, hosted by Wagner College from the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
In the field, freshman
Djurabe Edmond set the record for the weight throw event, finishing in ninth with a throw of 12.96 meters. With his performance, Edmond dethroned a record that was established in 2019 by Henry Farahani. Edmond also competed in the shot put, recording a put of 11.64 meters.
The 4x200 relay team of freshmen

Sophia Hines ran a program record time of 1:43.60. The time earned the group a seventh-place finish, while shattering the previous record by nearly five seconds.
Senior
Kathleen Healy bested a program record that was set just last Saturday, running to a time of 10:18.04 in the 3000-meter. Healy dominated the record, surpassing the mark by over eight seconds on her way to a sixth-place finish. Healy also competed in the 4x400, helping the group run 4:34.96.
