Staten Island, N.Y. - The record setting trend of the 2024-25 indoor track and field season continued at the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday (Jan. 17) at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex as junior Kathleen Healy ran a record time of 18:46.99 in the 5000-meter race. Healy's mark was good for fourth overall and was the only Division II competitor in the field.

Other highlights included personal bests from:

• Senior Megan Sohl in the 1000-meter (3:07.25; 17/30)
• Freshman Lexi Martoscia in the 60-meter hurdles (10.04; 30th/44)
• Freshman Julianna Roan in the 60-meter dash (8.14; 2/33)
• Freshman Sophia Hines in the triple jump (11.49m; 4/29)
• Senior Luke Jarski in the 500-meter (1:06.10; 8/31)
• Freshman Raymar Duncan in the 400-meter (51.59; 26/63)
• Freshman Michael Jones in the 400-meter (51.20; 22/63) and in the 200-meter (22.61; 20/77)

The teams will return to action at the annual Terrier Classic from Boston, Mass. on Jan. 31.
