Seaford, N.Y. - The Molloy men's rugby team opened the 2024 season this weekend at home against Hofstra University. The Lions ultimately fell, 48-10. 

Tenacious running and passing from Jeremy Buchalter and Andrew Jett helped set Molloy up for two scores. Gregory Laurent and Kyle Widecki provided a courageous and stout defensive presence throughout the match. 

The team will look to build from this result when they face the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Sunday (Sept. 29).
