Graduate student Alex Burns was selected to the All East Region Second Team by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, announced yesterday.

The outfielder earns her first All-Region nod after topping the Lions with 48 RBI, 15 doubles, four triples, six home runs, and 19 walks to go with 60 hits, a .349 batting average, a .587 slugging percentage, and 12 stolen bases. Burns recorded a hit in 39 of her 56 games, including 13 with multiple bases and 30 contests with an RBI. She was previously named All-East Coast Conference First Team.
