Lawrenceville, N.J. - The men's and women's outdoor track and field teams returned to action at the Rider Invitational this weekend.
The Lions' performance were highlighted by a new program-record in the 4x100-meter relay. The team of
Gianni Macchio,
Juan Arango,
Christian Canela, and
Mark Siebenhuener ran a time of 42.26.
The teams saw personal-best performances from the following:
- Peter Baggatine in the 1500-meter (4:04.82)

James Nichol in the 1500-meter (4:13.88)
- Matthew Rathje in the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:47.48)
- Eric Palenca in the 5,000-meter (15:51.70)

Marygrace Coll in the long jump (4.97 meters) and triple jump (10.47 meters)
The outdoor track and field program returns to action next weekend at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.
