Box Score Waltham, Mass. - The RV women's lacrosse team fell on the road at #20 Bentley University this afternoon, 16-6. Molloy sits at 5-3 on the season after the loss while the Falcons improved to 3-3.

How it Happened

• Bentley would take a 1-0 lead just 30 seconds into the contest, but goals from freshman Victoria Bustamante and junior Megan Rugolo (2) gave Molloy a 3-1 lead midway through the opening frame. 
• The Falcons closed the first quarter with three-straight goals to lead 4-3.
• The teams exchanged goals to open the second stanza before back-to-back goals from Caroline Affolter a minute apart increased the lead to 7-4.
• Junior Brenna Signorelli scored on a free position in the final two minutes of the half to cut the deficit to two, 7-5, at the break.
• The third quarter belonged entirely to the home team with four goals and extended the streak to nine before Rugolo netted her third of the game to round out the scoring. 

Top Performances

• Rugolo led with three goals and four draw controls. Signorelli, Bustamante, and junior Sofia Quitoni each scored one. 
• Junior Reilly Brady topped the team with four ground balls while adding two draw controls and two caused turnovers.
• Senior Joanna Mauceri led with three caused turnovers.
• Senior Mary-Kate Sweeney made eight saves in the loss.
