Buffalo, N.Y.- The women's lacrosse team fell 14-10 to D'Youville this afternoon at Dobson Field. With the loss the Lions drop to 5-9 overall (2-3 ECC), while the Saints improve its record to 6-8 (3-2 ECC).

- Senior Emma Brazier opened the scoring for the Lions just 57 seconds into the contest.
- Lauren Parker tied the game on a free position shot, followed by a man-down goal from Danielle Gephart to give the Saints a 2-1 lead.
- Freshman Sam Cossaro responded with a man-up goal late in the first frame before Brazier added her second on another extra-man opportunity for the Lions.
- Junior goalkeeper Samantha Heuer denied Gephart on a free position attempt to preserve the Lions' 3-2 lead heading into the second quarter.
- Sophonore Cameron Thompson connected with Brazier to complete her hat trick early in the second quarter.
- D'Youville trimmed the deficit to one with a goal from Madison McGinn
- Sophomore Ava Benasutti tallied her first of the game to extend Molloy's lead to 5-3.
- The Saints responded with back-to-back goals to even the score at five. The home team continued its run with goals from Ireland Costigan, Madison Buck, and Lauren Parker to go ahead 8-5.
- Benasutti halted the run with a free position goal, sending the Lions into halftime trailing 8-6.

- McGinn and Gephart scored three minutes apart before Brazier capitalized on a man-up opportunity to cut the Lions' deficit to three.
