Box Score Saint Leo, Fla. – The women's lacrosse team fell to RV Saint Leo University this evening, 14-13. The Lions sit at 4-2 on the season following the loss.
How it Happened
- Saint Leo took an early 1-0 lead 15 seconds into the contest before junior Alexa Amorison knotted the contest.
- The next two goals belonged to Saint Leo before junior Brenna Signorelli scored back-to-back markers to knot the score with seven minutes left in the opening frame.
- The quarter would end tied 4-4 with Rugolo netting her first of the evening.
- Junior Sofia Quitoni kicked off scoring in the second quarter before Rugolo converted a successful extra-woman opportunity to give the Lions a 6-4 lead midway through the quarter.

- Rugolo led with five points on four goals and one assist. The attacker also controlled five draws to go with two ground balls.
- Quitoni had two goals and one assist for three points while Signorelli and Amorison each netted two goals for two points and Mauceri had a goal and an assist.
- Murphy and Grossjung had one goal each with freshman Victoria Bustamante added an assist.
- Mauceri and junior Reilly Brady each controlled four draws.
- Senior goalie Mary-Kate Sweeny led with a career-high seven ground balls and matched a career-high 12 saves in the loss.
- Amorison and Brady followed with three ground balls each.
