Boston, Mass. - A season of record-setting continued for the men's indoor track and field program this weekend at the Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University.
Schnyder Germain ran a record time of 1:05.41 in the 500-meter race before teaming up with
Emmanouil Paravalos,
Christian Canela, and
Eric Anderson to set another record in the 4x400-meter relay (3:21.85).
In the field events ,
Jurrel Hall established a new record in the triple jump for the third time this season, recording a distance of 14.07 meters.
Paravalos (50.85), Anderson (50.84) and
Manny Fernandez (52.69) all recorded personal-bests in the 400-meter race while
Stanley Louis set a new PR in the 200-meter (23.66).
On the women's side,
Alaysia Cobb set personal-bests in both the 400-meter (1:02.45) and 200-meter (27.72) races. She was joined by
Anne Jeanty (1:04.79) and
Isabella Fortaleza (1:05.84) in the 400-meter.
Distance racers
Megan Sohl (3:07.71, 1000-meter) and
Kathleen Healy (5:29.99, mile) each set PRs as well.
Faith Rousseau rounded out Molloy's top performances with a personal-best throw in the shot pu, 11.70 meters.
The Lions return to action this weekend at the Scarlet Knight Open (Feb. 2) at the Armory.
