New Orleans, La. – The U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Region honorees with sophomore Antonette Pommells and freshman Jason Ferguson receiving recognition in the East Region.
 
Per the statement from the Coaches Association, "The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams". 
 
Pommells was recognized for her success in the 400-meter throughout the indoor season. The sophomore could not be stopped in the event throughout the campaign, breaking the program- record on three occasions. Most recently the sprinter set the indoor record at the ECC Championships (Feb. 19) running a time of 57.73 second to finish first at the event. 
 
Ferguson was featured for his success in the long jump. In his first season in cardinal and white, the freshman finished in the top-10 in the long jump on three occasions, including breaking the program-record with a 6.83-meter leap at the Scarlet Knight Open (Feb. 3).
 
Molloy begins its outdoor season Saturday, March 25 at the Ursinus Invite.
