Seaford, N.Y. - The women's rugby team hosted Hofstra University this past weekend at Cedar Creek Park. The Pride topped the Lions, 69-12.
Molloy's scores came from
Vanessa Hartman at 28:01 and
Jemimah Paul at 4:02.
Head Coach Caroline Nickels said: "While we were on offense, we looked like a threat and utilized our game plan. We spent a lot of time on defense and saw aggressive play from
Olivia Martin. In the second half,
Jemimah Paul was a threat offensively and gained meters for us.
Kristen Regan and
Vanessa Hartman conducted our game plan well and
Jenna Flynn is representing the inside center position like a veteran. (Co-Head Coach) Sam and I are very impressed with a rookie-heavy team."
