Fairfield, Conn. - The women's rugby team returned to action against Sacred Heart University this afternoon in Fairfield, Conn.
The Lions were defeated, 122-0, and fell to an even 3-3 on the season headed into the final game of the fall campaign.
Molloy topped the Pioneers in scrum wins, 7-6.
Offensively, the maroon and white were led by sophomore
Kaitlyn DeMaio, who recorded one run over 20 meters.
DeMaio also topped the squad with 16 tackles. She was joined in double digits by junior
Giselle Ust, who recorded 10.
Molloy will host Long Island University on Saturday (Nov. 2) in the final game of the 2019 season at 9:00 a.m. The maroon and white will recognized the senior members of its squad in a pre-game ceremony.
