 Coach's Comments
"We knew this match was going to be a physical one. Our focus was to utilize the space on attack and stick our tackles on defense. Our back line was able to put together a string of sharp passes to keep us on top", said head coach Melissa Olman. "Today's women of the match went to Olivia Sturiano who scored three tries and converted three kicks. Sturiano was able to break the line on multiple occasions fending off defenders. Freshman, Gabrielle Riepe tracked down a try saving tackle to keep the Pioneers off the score board, and solidify the shutout. Every week we look to build on the previous match, we are looking forward to next weeks matchup against a very strong MSMU."
