Siobhan Coady in a senior day ceremony.
How it Happened
- Graduate student Chrissy Heyer scored the first try of the game. Sophomore Olivia Sturiano had a successful conversion to give the Lions a 7-0 lead.
- The Yellow Jackets countered with two tries and one conversion to take a 12-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Coady and Heyer each scored tries in the second quarter. Another conversion from Sturiano knotted the score, 19-19.
- AIC controlled the scoring through the end of the half, adding two tries and one conversion to take a 31-19 lead.
- For the third straight quarter, the Lions got on the board first with a third try from Heyer. Sturiano's kick brought Molloy within five, 21-26.
- The quarter ended with four tries and three conversions by the Yellow Jackets.
- The streak continued into the final frame with two additional tries and one conversion for AIC to take a 64-26 lead.
- Heyer scored her fourth try of the afternoon, paired with a conversion for Sturiano to set the score at 69-33.
- AIC ended the contest with another two tries and conversions to set the final score at 83-33.
- Heyer led the contest with 13 tackles; Coady tallied nine.
