Cooper Sesselman (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) added five goals in the win.
New Haven opens its season Thursday evening. The Chargers return senior Caitlin O'Brien (Branford, Conn.), who score 38 goals and recorded 25 assists a season ago. Junior Jessica Mazliah (Holbrook, N.Y.) is another key member that returns to the New Haven lineup. Last season, she tallied 26 goals and registered 30 helpers.
The Lions fell to the Chargers, 11-5, last season. Wilson led the team with three points (two goals and one assist). Markowitz and Sesselman also scored.
