About the Lions:
  • Molloy comes into the week 3-1-4 overall and 1-0 in East Coast Conference play.
  • The Lions went 1-1 last week, falling to 20th-ranked Franklin Pierce, 2-0, Wednesday, September 16 before earning a 3-0 victory over Daemen Saturday, September 19.
  • In the triumph over the Wildcats, junior Jana Strait tied a career-high two goals and four points, junior Bella Juliano added three points on the back of one goal and one assist, and senior Elyse Muñoz made six saves to collect her third shutout of the season. 
Pace:
  • The Setters hold a 5-2 overall record alongside a 0-1 Northeast-10 record on the campaign.
  • The Setters went 1-1 last week, topping Mercy, 3-1, Wednesday September 16 before falling to Southern Connecticut State, 2-0, Saturday, September 19.
  • To this point of the year, Alyssa Blanchette tops the squad with 11 points on the back of four goals and three assists with 16 shots on goal.
  • The Lions and Setters met in Pleasantville last season with the Lions earning a 2-1 victory September 30, 2025.
  • Molloy is 3-1 all-time against Pace.
D'Youville:
  • The Saints are 3-3-1 overall and 1-0 in ECC play through the opening three weeks.
  • D'Youville went 2-0 last week, taking down AIC, 2-0, Wednesday, September 16 and Staten Island, 2-1, Saturday, September 19.
  • Emily Stefik leads all scorers with four points behind a pair of goals. Alegra Black leads a goalkeeping tandem with 26 saves.
  • The two programs got together last season in Rockville Centre with the Lions coming away with a 2-0 victory October 25, 2025.
  • Molloy is 5-0 all-time against D'Youville.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions enter the week 3-1-2 overall and 1-0 against ECC competition.
  • Molloy went 2-0 last week, defeating Dominican, 1-0, Tuesday, September 15 and Daemen, 7-1, Saturday, September 19.
  • Against the Chargers, the cardinal and white found the back of the net in the final minute after junior Sean Lee converted following a rebound.
  • In the Lions ECC opener against Daemen, the home team scored seven goals, coming within one of a single-game program record. Freshman Mael Pierre Paul tallied four points (one goal and two assists), junior Charlie Morgan added four points (two goals), and sophomore Jack Veletanga added two points (one goal and one assist).
  • The contest also saw graduate student Jack Hynes find the back of the net for the first time in his Molloy career and sophomore Jason Pereira and freshman Vincent Martinez score for the first time in their collegiate careers.
St. Thomas Aquinas:
  • The Spartans come into the week 2-2-2 overall and 1-0 in East Coast Conference play.
  • St. Thomas Aquinas went 1-0-1 last week, playing to a 1-1 draw against Monroe Tuesday, September 15 before taking down Mercy, 3-2, Saturday, September 19.
  • Sebastian Ortega tops the team with five points behind two goals and one assist.
  • The two teams last met in the ECC Championship First Round in Sparkill with the Spartans advancing with a 3-1 victory November 5, 2025.
  • Molloy is 10-10-5 all-time against St. Thomas Aquinas.
D'Youville:
  • The Saints enter the week 2-3-3 overall and 0-0-1 in league play.
  • D'Youville went 0-1-1 last week, falling to Gannon, 2-1, Wednesday, September 16 before playing to a scoreless draw at Staten Island Saturday, September 19.
  • Ethan Robinson leads the offense with six points, three goals, and 16 shots on goal. In goal, Matthew Solorio has made 15 saves.
  • The Lions and Saints met last season for their annual conference matchup with the Lions coming away with a 3-1 triumph in Rockville Centre October 25, 2025.
  • Molloy is 5-0-1 all-time against D'Youville.
Volleyball (4-8)

Concerning the Cardinal and White:
  • The Lions will begin East Coast Conference play 4-8 on the season.  
  • Molloy went 1-1 last week, falling to Southern Connecticut State, 3-0, Friday, September 18 before taking down Pace, 3-1, Saturday, September 19.
  • In the victory over the Setters, senior Erin Stanley led with a career-high 18 kills, freshman Peyton Douglas recorded a career-high six aces and added four blocks, and senior Hayden Riddle matched a career-high give aces, while adding a double-double with 25 assists and 13 digs.
Queens:
  • The Knights have gotten off to a 2-11 start to the campaign.
  • Queens went 1-0 last week, topping Georgian Court, 3-2, Thursday, September 17.
  • At the net, Zoe Sercu tops all players with 131 kills, 2.85 kills per set, and 154 points, Kaiya Banks has totaled 176 assists, and Mikayla Haskell has added 27 blocks.
  • The Lions and Knights met twice last season with the cardinal and white coming away with a pair of victories, most recently a 3-0 triumph October 21, 2025.
  • Molloy is 30-35 all-time against Queens.

  • The Lions hold a 0-2 record in the early goings of the season.
  • Molloy went 0-1 last week, falling to Pace, 6-0, Saturday, September 19.
Millersville:
  • The Marauders hold a 3-3 overall record and are 0-1 in PSAC competition.
  • Millersville went 0-2 last week, falling to fifth-ranked West Chester, 5-2, Thursday, September 17 and 10th-ranked Indiana (PA), 2-1, Saturday, September 19.
  • The two squads will meet for the first time since 2023, where the Marauders topped the Lions, 5-0, September 10, 2023.
  • Molloy is 0-2 all-time against Millersville.

About Molloy:
  • The Lions opened the 2026 season last weekend against Chestnut Hill, falling, 17-7, Friday, September 18.
  • Graduate student Peter von Schoenermarck scored the squads first touchdown of the season with a two-yard run in the third quarter. On the defense, sophomore Aydan Das led the unit with 12 total tackles behind a team-high eight solo tackles. 
Mansfield:
  • The Mountaineers began the season with a 43-6 victory over Cornell Saturday, September 19.
  • Joseph Fry accounted for five touchdowns, throwing three and running for another two while totaling over 353 yards of total offense.
  • The Lions and Mountaineers met in Uniondale last season with the road team coming away with a 56-13 victory.
  • Molloy is 0-2 all-time against Mansfield.
