The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) announced its Academic Scholar Athletes and Teams for the 2025-26 academic year. The Molloy bowling team had four honorees earn Academic Scholar Athletes: senior Emily Kulkarni (3.9 – Education), sophomore Ilana Kaplan (4.0 – Social Studies / Education) and freshman Kelly Fogarty (4.0 – Photography). Additionally, with a team GPA of 3.35 the cardinal and white were named an All-Academic Scholar Team.

The NTCA All-Academic Team honors collegiate bowlers who have excelled in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of the sport. To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year.
 
To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must have maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. This year, forty-nine teams earned this prestigious distinction, exemplifying a strong commitment to excellence both on the lanes and in the classroom.
