New Castle, Del. – The Molloy women's bowling team collected its best finish of the 2025-26 campaign, earning second-place at the Northeast Roundup hosted by Wilmington University from Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, March 15. The Lions went 6-2 through qualifying to average 193.3 while collecting 8,700 pins. In addition, junior
Samantha Felice was named to the All-Tournament Team, rolling a 1,016 five-game set with a high game of 247 to average 203.2 in traditional play.
Day One - Traditional
- Molloy started the day with a 997-806 victory over Holy Family. The match saw the keglers have four bowlers roll at least a 195 game, led by Felice and sophomore Ilana Kaplan who put together a 223 and 214 game, respectively.
- After falling to Kutztown in the second match, 1,008-968, the cardinal and white rallied off two straight victories to finish day one.
- The Lions topped Mercyhurst, 968-719, led by Felice who rolled a 247 game alongside senior Emily Kulkarni who put together a 216 score. Molloy ended Satuday with a 868-632 triumph over LIU to go 3-1, sitting in second-place.
Day Two – Baker
- Sunday afternoon began with the Lions dropping its first match to Caldwell, 953-844.
- Molloy would find a great reaction on the lanes, ending Sunday with three-straight match victories with a pair of triumphs of collecting over 1,000 pins. It started with a 1,019-841 win over host Wilmington before taking down top-seeded Felician, 1,094-1,027.
- The cardinal and white ended qualifying with a 925-700 triumph against Chestnut Hill to finish 6-2 and in second heading into the bracket finals.
- The baker bracket final had the Lions matchup against Felician in a best-of-seven. Both squads would match each other through the first four matches, knotted at two, but Felician would have a little extra remaining in the tank, taking the final two matches to win, 4-2.
