For the second straight week, five members of the cardinal and white earned Player of the Week honors in their respective sports, announced by the East Coast Conference.

Men's lacrosse came up with a near sweep in back-to-back weeks, with seniors
John Basile and
Brian Green selected as the Goalie and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively followed by freshman
Jaden Simick who earned Rookie of the Week honors. On the diamond, junior
Mariah Cepeda of softball and sophomore
Steve Mulqueen of baseball were selected Player of the Week.

Basile tallied a save percentage of .512 in a week against two nationally-ranked opponents. The senior stopped 13 shots in a one-goal loss to #1 Adelphi University before adding nine saves, five ground balls, and a caused turnover against RV Mercy to clinch the regular season for #14 Molloy.

Green tallied eight points on the week for #14 Molloy. The junior started off with three assists in a close contest against #1 Adelphi before putting up five points on four goals and an assist in a victory over RV Mercy that clinched the regular season for the Lions, who enter the final game of the regular season undefeated in league play.

Simick tallied five points on three goals and two assists against RV Mercy to help #14 Molloy clinch the regular season title. The freshman also added an assist at #1 Adelphi on the week and picked up a total of three ground balls.

Cepeda posted a .500 batting average, .864 slugging percentage, and .522 on base percentage on 11 hits and nine RBI this past week. Cepeda started off the week strong, going 5-for-7 at the plate in the doubleheader against Jefferson, including two RBI doubles, and a pair of RBI singles. In game two against Queens, the junior was among the leaders in hits going 2-for-4 with a career-best four RBI off her first collegiate grand slam. Cepeda closed out the week with a total of four hits, including two doubles, and an RBI in the doubleheader against D'Youville.

Mulqueen was a key contributor in Molloy's 6-0 week that saw the Lions increase their winning streak to 15. The sophomore hit .409 (9-for-22), slugged .682, and got on base at a .519 clip while collecting three multi-hit and three multi-run games. On Monday against Caldwell, Mulqueen connected for his fifth home run of the season as part of a two-hit day where he drove in three and scored twice. In Saturday's doubleheader at Mercy, the junior combined to hit 4-of-7 in the twin bill totaling four runs and two doubles. To cap the week, Mulqueen scored seven times, drove in five runs, drew five walks, totaled three doubles, homered and stole a base.
Pazienza had a stand-out week at the face-off dot for #14 Molloy, winning over 63 percent of his chances. The senior had double digit wins both against #1 Adelphi (11) and RV Mercy (15) and picked up eight ground balls in each contest. Pazienza made his presence known on the offensive side of the ball in league play, scoring a career-high two goals on his senior day against the Mavericks.

Knapp improved to an ECC best 6-1 in Saturday's victory at Mercy. The right-hander tossed his third complete game in his last four appearances, pitching seven innings allowing one earned run on four hits and striking out a season-high 10 without issuing a walk and facing three over the minimum.

Dabbadie secured two wins in the circle this past week, throwing 20.2 innings and posting a 3.39 ERA to go along with 11 strikeouts. In the game one 11-2 win over Jefferson, Dabbadie threw all five innings, striking out a total of four batters. The junior threw a complete game at Queens, adding an additional three strikeouts on the week. Dabbadie struck out two batters in 3.2 innings of work at D'Youville to close out the week.

Sill pitched seven innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out a season-high 10 in a no-decision against Mercy on Friday.

Sweeney set the table in Molloy's six-win week. The junior hit .333, slugged .524, and reached base at a .444 clip while totaling two games of scoring three runs. Monday at Caldwell was the first game the junior scored three times on top of driving in three and totaling two hits. In game two on Molloy's doubleheader at Mercy, the leadoff man tallied a three-run inside the park home run and scored three times as part of a three-hit day. On the week, Sweeney scored seven times, drove in seven, walked three times, homered, and stole a base.

Bueno posted a .467 batting average this past week with a .467 slugging percentage and .500 on base percentage on seven hits, a walk, and three RBI. In the doubleheader split against Queens, the freshman recorded three hits and a walk, and drove in a run. Against D'Youville, Bueno closed out the week with a total of four hits and two RBI.
