About the Lions:
  • The Lions kick hold a 8-14 overall record alongside a 6-4 record in East Coast Conference play.
  • Molloy went 1-1 last week, topping Queens, 78-53, Wednesday, February 4 before falling to Assumption, 63-45, Saturday, February 7.
  • In the triumph over Queens, senior Collen McCullagh led all scorers with 24 points while adding nine rebounds, senior Sophia Yearwood followed with 22 points, six assists, and four rebounds, and senior Rosa Rizzitelli had a double-double with 10 assists and 10 rebounds.
UDC:
  • The Firebirds enter the week 8-13 overall and 4-7 against ECC opponents
  • UDC went 1-1 last week, falling to Daemen, 79-51, Friday, February 6 before defeating D'Youville, 70-62, Sunday, February 8.
  • Aiyana Ellis leads the squad averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 34 minutes per game.
  • The two programs met last season, splitting in its two matchups. In the last game of the regular season the Lions topped the Firebirds, 66-57, March 1, 2025.
  • Molloy is 9-17 all-time against UDC.   
Roberts Wesleyan:
  • The Redhawks hoist a 4-14 overall record and are 1-9 in league play.
  • Roberts Wesleyan went 0-2 last week, falling to St. Thomas Aquinas, 92-71, Friday, February 6 and Mercy, 68-54, Sunday, February 8.
  • Jada Mushat tops all scorers averaging 13.1 points per game, Erin Frazier leads on the glass averaging 7.7 rebounds per contest, and Aniyah Jones paces all qualified players shooting 42 percent from the field.
  • The Lions and Redhawks got together earlier this season in Rockville Centre with the home team coming away with a 77-58 victory December 12, 2025.
  • Molloy is 15-14 all-time against Roberts Wesleyan.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions come into the week 6-14 overall and 6-4 against East Coast Conference foes.
  • Molloy went 1-0 last week, taking down Queens 83-74, Wednesday, February 4.
  • In the contest, sophomore Dylan Kopp led all scorers netting 23 points on the back of a career-high 10 field goals, junior Chris Stokel tallied a double-double totaling 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
  • Junior Jared Weakly stuffed the stat sheet, collecting a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double while dishing out six assists, blocking five shots and swiping four steals, both a game-high.
UDC:
  • The Firebirds hold a 3-16 overall record and are 2-9 in East Coast Conference play.
  • UDC went 0-2 last week, slipping to No. 4 Daemen, 88-67, Friday, February 6 and D'Youville, 76-67, Sunday, February 8.
  • The squad has four players averaging over 10 points per game, led by Rejuan Gray averaging 12.7 points per game while Oliver Spence tops the squad shooting 54 percent from the floor.
  • The Lions and Firebirds will meet for the first time this season. In 2024-25 the cardinal and white swept the season series with its most recent win coming in a 108-78 triumph March 1, 2025.
  • Molloy is 18-10 all-time against UDC.
Roberts Wesleyan:
  • The Redhawks begin the week with a 4-14 overall record and a 2-8 conference record.
  • Roberts Wesleyan went 1-1 last week, dropping a contest to St. Thomas Aquinas, 96-74, before topping Mercy, 69-57, Sunday, February 8.
  • Collin Woods tops all scorers averaging 14.8 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field.
  • The two programs met earlier this season in Rockville Centre with the Lions earning a 9-75 victory December 12, 2025.
  • Molloy is 17-11 all-time against Roberts Wesleyan.

Introducing Molloy:
  • The Lions ran its final competition before the East Coast Conference Championship last week, competing at the Big Apple Invitational.
  • Senior Kathleen Healy reclaimed the 3000-meter record with a time of 10:09.12. This is the second time in two weeks that Healy has put herself in the record books, shaving two seconds off teammate Marie Naudus' time (10:11.06) earlier this season. The time earned her third-place in the field of 33. 
  • Junior Amir Carter-Thomas also reclaimed a record for the second time this season, putting up a mark of 15.15 meters in the weight throw. The distance was good for first-place and surpassed the previous record from teammate Djurabe Edmond by nearly a full meter.
