About Molloy:
  • The Lions began the 2026 campaign Saturday, February 21 falling to Wilmington, 15-6.
No. 8 Pace:
  • The Setters kicked off the season last week topping Dominican, 10-9 in overtime. They currently are ranked eighth in the IWLCA Coaches Poll.
  • The two squads met last season in Pleasantville with the Setters earning a 17-5 triumph February 26, 2026.
  • Molloy is 0-4 all-time against Pace.
AIC:
  • The Yellow Jackets hold a 0-1 record after opening the year falling to Roberts Wesleyan, 19-3, Wednesday, February 18.
  • The two programs will meet for the first time since 2017, where the Lions came away with a 19-15 victory in Springfield, Mass. February 25, 2017.
  • Molloy is 3-0 all-time against AIC.

Concerning the Lions:
  • Molloy begins the final week of the regular season 11-15 overall and 9-5 in East Coast Confernece play.
  • The Lions went 1-1 last week, topping St. Thomas Aquinas, 66-53, Wednesday, February 18 before falling to Mercy, 72-57, Sunday, February 22.
  • In the victory over the Spartans, senior Sophia Yearwood led all scorers with 22 points shooting 8-of-12 from the field and 4-of-6 from long distance. Senior Colleen McCullagh (13 points – 10 rebounds) and freshman Sharmeela Ugbogbo (11 points – 12 rebounds) collected a double-double each.
  • The triumph over the Spartans secured the cardinal and white a home game in the East Coast Conference Championship.
District of Columbia:
  • The Firebirds hoist a 10-14 overall record and are 6-8 against ECC competition.
  • District of Columbia went 1-0 last week, defeating Roberts Wesleyan, 70-65, Wednesday February 21.
  • Aiyanna Ellis leads all scorers averaging 12.8 points per game while also leading all qualified players shooting 41.2 percent from the floor.
  • The Lions and Firebirds met two weeks ago Wednesday, February 11 in Washington, D.C. with the Lions coming away with a 72-66 victory in overtime.
  • Molloy is 10-17 all-time against District of Columbia.
Staten Island:
  • The Dolphins are 9-17 overall and 5-9 in league play.
  • Staten Island went 1-0 last week, picking up a 73-55 victory over Roberts Wesleyan Sunday, February 22.
  • Kyra Rose tops the squad averaging 14 points per game and shooting 45 percent from the field.
  • The Lions topped the Dolphins, 72-66, earlier this season January 31, 2026.
  • Molloy is 7-4 all-time against Staten Island.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions head into the final week of the regular season 8-16 overall and 8-6 in ECC play.
  • Molloy went 1-1 last week, slipping to St. Thomas Aquinas, 83-75, Wednesday, February 18 before taking down Mercy, 84-73, Sunday, February 22.
  • Against the Mavericks, junior Chris Stokel led all scorers with a career-high 26 points on the back of shooting 64 percent.
  • Junior Bryce Merchant tallied 24 points en route to becoming the 23rd player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points.
District of Columbia:
  • The Firebirds enter the week 4-18 overall and 3-11 in conference play.
  • UDC went 0-1 last week, falling to Roberts Wesleyan, 101-66, Wednesday February 18.
  • Oliver Spence tops all scorers averaging 13.2 points per game and shooting 54.8 percent from the floor.
  • When the two programs met two weeks ago, the Lions earned a 82-76 victory February 11, 2026.
  • Molloy is 19-10 all-time against UDC.
Staten Island:
  • The Dolphins are 18-8 overall and 9-5 in ECC competition.
  • Staten Island went 1-0 last week, topping Roberts Wesleyan, 85-74, Sunday, February 22.
  • Averaging 21.3 points per game, Aaron Goldstein leads the East Coast Conference on top of shooting 45 percent from the field.
  • The two squads met January 31, 2026 and played to an overtime thriller with the Lions coming away with a 100-97 victory.
  • Molloy is 3-6 all-time against Staten Island.

About the Lions:
  • Molloy holds a 3-3 record.
  • The Lions went 1-2 last week, splitting a doubleheader with Bridgeport (10-2 and 4-6) Friday, February 20 before falling to Franklin Pierce, 4-2, Saturday, February 21.
  • In the victory over Bridgeport, junior James Sill picked up his first win of the season, tossing six innings allowing two unearned runs on five hits and striking out eight.
  • Senior Sean Welsh collected his third home run of the season as part of a three hit day and junior Joe Burriesci connected for his first career home run. 
Adelphi:
  • The Panthers are 0-3 after beginning the season last weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
  • Adelphi fell to Felician in a doubleheader (21-9 and 6-5) Friday, February 20 and Queens, 8-2, Saturday, February 21.
  • The two programs met last season for a three-game series from May 2 – May 3, 2025 with the Lions picking up three victories (12-6, 6-0, 6-2).
  • Molloy is 25-45 all-time against Adelphi.
#12 Men's Lacrosse (1-1)

Concerning Molloy:
  • The Lions hoist a 1-1 record.
  • Molloy went 1-0 last week, taking down No. 8 Pace, 13-12, in overtime in its home-opener Saturday, February 21.
  • Graduate student Zach Kroog (four goals and on assist) and senior Tommy Corcoron (two goals and three assists) led the team with five points with Kroog netting the game-winning goal off the feed from Corcoron.
  • On the defense, sophomore Aiden Dinnigan had five ground balls and four caused turnovers while senior Shawn McCabe led the squad with six caused turnovers.
  • In net, senior John Basile made a career-best 16 saves.
Wilmington:
  • The Wildcats are 2-1.
  • Wilmington went 0-1 last week, falling to 17th-ranked Mercy, 9-8 in overtime.
  • Through three games, Andrew Dzubak tops the squad with 14 points and 10 goals while Ian Betts is tied for the team lead with four assists. In net, Daniel Flynn holds a 58.2 save percentage and a 7.67 GAA.
  • In last season's matchup, the Lions earned a 14-7 triumph February 26, 2025, in Rockville Centre.
  • Molloy in 1-1 all-time against Wilmington.
