The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the recipients of the 2024-2025 Academic All-District men's and women's basketball teams. Graduate student

Sophia Yearwood from women's basketball were each selected due to their exemplary performances on both the field and in the classroom.

Lane collects his second straight Academic All-District honor after a career season. The graduate student averaged a career-high 8.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, putting together 12 double-doubles on the season. On the glass, Lane collected a single-game record 23 rebounds in Molloy's regular season finale against UDC (Mar. 1) and finished the campaign fifth in the country in rebounds per game and defensive rebounds per game (4.57). Protecting the middle, the center recorded a career-high six blocks against Goldey-Beacom (Dec. 18) to tie a single-game record while picking up at least one denial in 24 of 28 games.

Hippner puts a stamp on her career in her final season in Rockville Centre with an Academic All-District nod. The senior became one of the premier shot blockers in the country and in Molloy history. The center finished second in the nation in total blocks (105) and third in blocks per game (3.39). Throughout the season Hippner reset the Molloy record books becoming the programs all-time blocks leader (254) and set the single-game blocks record (12) against Roberts Wesleyan (Feb. 9). The center ended the season averaging 6.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.39 blocks per game.

For the second consecutive season, Campo takes home an Academic All-District. The junior put together her best season in Rockville Centre, averaging career highs in points per game (7.1), rebounds per game (4.3), and steals per game (2.1) while appearing in all 31 contests making 30 starts. Throughout the campaign, Campo put together a career-high 18 points against Queens (Dec. 7) and a career-high 10 rebounds against Roberts Wesleyan (Dec. 15) while totaling two or more steals in 13 games.

Rizzitelli collects an Academic All-District on top of earning the East Coast Conference Elite-20 award. The junior put together her best overall season in cardinal and white averaging 8.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while appearing in all 31 games. Rizzitelli saw career-high performances this season totaling her highest single game point total (22) against Caldwell (Jan. 7) rebound total (15) at D'Youville (Feb. 16), and assists (6) against Dominican (Nov. 30).

Yearwood rounds out the Molloy honorees gathering her first Academic All-District. The sharpshooting junior finished 18
th in the nation in three-point percentage (40.0), draining at least two three-point field goals in 21 of 31 contests. Yearwood's presence at the three-point line helped her finish second on the team in points per game (10.1) while she put together a career-high 4.1 rebounds per game. The Northport native totaled a career-high 22 points against Roberts Wesleyan (Feb. 9) and tied a career-high six three-point field goals against the Redhawks.
