West Babylon, N.Y. – Senior Samantha Muller was selected the East Coast Conference Player of the Week, announced by the league this afternoon. In addition, junior Colleen McCullagh and sophomore Rob Matos were named to the league's Weekly Honor Rolls.
 
Muller was a centerpiece in Molloy's 3-0 week, where she averaged 17.0 points per game with 25 total rebounds and six steals. The senior collected three consecutive 10+ point performances. Muller netted a season-high 22 points against Puerto Rico-Bayamon on Tuesday while bringing down nine rebounds. Against Dominican on Saturday, Muller secured another nine-rebound game while totaling 15 points and three steals and finished off the week with 14 points, seven rebounds, and three steals against Felician on Sunday.
 
McCullagh was key for the Lions on the boards in a 3-0 week. The junior totaled 23 rebounds on the week while collecting 15 on the offensive glass, providing second chance opportunities. The forward swiped five steals through three games, including three against Felician where she also brought down nine rebounds and led the squad with 16 points. To cap the week, McCullagh averaged 11 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game.
 
Matos led the Lions with 26 points in the squad's lone game of the week. The sophomore accounted for nearly all of Molloy's offense in the final stretch of a loss to New Haven, scoring 17 of the last 21 points, including a 6-of-6 span from the foul line. The guard also led Molloy with four assists on the afternoon.
