Rochester, N.Y. - The cross country teams competed in the NCAA East Regional Tournament this afternoon on the campus of Roberts Weseylan University. The women's team finished fifth in a field of 19 schools, the best finish in the program's history, while the men's team placed 14th.

Sophomore Peter Bagattine (25th; 32:29.1), junior Sabrina Spezia (18th, 22:37.8), and freshman Carli Sheiffele (21st, 22:47.4) ran to All-Region performances in the effort.

In total, 11 members of the cardinal and white set personal best times in their respective races, a 6k for the women and 10k for the men:

The cross country team will shift focus to track and field. The indoor track and field teams open the 2024-25 season on Saturday, December 7 at the TCNJ Indoor Opener at The Armory at 5:00 p.m.
