About the Lions:
  • Molloy starts the second week of September 1-1.
  • The Lions started the 2025 campaign last week, picking up a victory over D'Youville, 1-0, Friday, September 5 before falling to Roberts Wesleyan, 1-0, in double overtime Sunday, September 7.
  • In Molloy's victory over the Saints, senior Gianna Mastrocco netted her first goal of the season in the third quarter and sophomore Kayla Balsamo made one save to pick up the win.
Adelphi:
  • The Panthers hold a 0-1 record after the season's opening weekend.
  • Adelphi began the year at Slippery Rock where they would fall, 1-0, Thursday, September 4.
  • The local rivals last met October 23, 2024 where the Lions fell to the Panthers, 2-0.
  • Molloy is 0-7 all-time against Adelphi. 
Maryville:
  • The Saints are 0-1 to begin the season.
  • Maryville fell to Lincoln Memorial University, 3-2, Saturday, September 6.
  • Tia Sansone and Denise Van de Spuy netted one goal apiece with Calista Crocker picking up two assists.
  • Saturday will be the first matchup between the two programs.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions enter the week with a 3-1 record.
  • Molloy picked up three victories in its opening weekend, taking down Belmont Abbey (3-1) and Wilmington (3-0) Friday, September 5 and Assumption (3-0) Saturday, September 6.
  • Graduate student Julia Zalta tallied 80 assists, 28 digs, and 26 kills on the weekend, Junior Erin Stanley totaled 34 kills including a career-high 14 against Belmont Abbey, and freshman Haven Trechter debuted totaling 38 kills and 32 digs.
Bridgeport:
  • The Purple Knights appeared once in the season's opening weekend where they fell to Pace, 3-2, Thursday, September 4.
  • Hailey Jessen led the squad with 12 kills, Kenyce Johnson and Elaine Delallo collected 12 digs apiece, and Ava Casales handed out 19 assists.
  • The two squads last met in 2022 where the Lions triumphed, 3-0, September 9.
  • Molloy is 15-29 all-time against Bridgeport.
West Chester:
  • The Golden Rams started the campaign 3-0 at the PSAC East Kickoff Tournament.
  • West Chester picked up three 3-0 victories over Georgian Court, Dominican, and the University of Charleston.
  • The squad holds three players with at least 20 kills: Abiah Lane (23), Zoe Haines (22), and Julia Kwitchoff (20), Lacie Brown tops the squad with 79 assists, and Elianna Freeman leads with 33 digs.
  • Friday will be the first matchup between the two programs.
Felician:
  • The Golden Falcons hold a 1-2 record.
  • Felician picked up a 3-0 victory over Southern New Hampshire Friday, September 5 before falling to Minnesota Crookston, 3-0, and Saint Anselm, 3-1, Saturday, September 6.
  • Rowan Jensen leads all players with 37 digs, 26 kills and 10 aces through three games and Faith Sibert tops the squad with seven blocks.
  • The two programs will meet for the first time since 2016 on Saturday with the Lions holding a career 12-0 record against the Golden Falcons.

About the Lions:
  • Molloy kicked off 2025 at home, finishing the weekend 0-2.
  • The Lions fell to Bentley Thursday, September 4 and No. 17 Adelphi Saturday, September 6, 2-1.
  • Against Bentley, Mikaela Barriga picked up her first goal of the season after freshman Jana Strait found her inside the 18-yard box.
  • In the contest against the Panthers, Strait netted her first goal of the season after sophomore Marissa Tonic found her on a corner kick. The game was called in the 74th minute due to weather.
Caldwell:
  • The Cougars opened the season Thursday, September 4 with a 6-0 victory over Mansfield on the road.
  • The contest saw Rosio Cardenas net three goals and dish out one assist to lead the team with seven points.
  • The two teams met in Caldwell, N.J. last season with the Lions falling, 6-2, to the Cougars September 14, 2025.
  • Molloy is 12-8-3 all-time against Caldwell.
Goldey-Beacom:
  • The Lightning began the season last week dropping a pair of contests.
  • Goldey-Beacom fell to Shippensburg, 6-2, Thursday, September 4 and Mercy, 3-0, Sunday, September 7.
  • Jessica Jensen netted a pair of goals in the game against Shippensburg and leads the squad with four points.
  • The two squads met last season in Rockville Centre on September 11, 2024 with the Lions triumphing, 2-1.
  • Molloy is 5-1-2 all-time against Goldey-Beacom.

About Molloy:
  • The Lions opened the season Thursday, September 4 playing to a scoreless draw with Saint Anselm.
  • In the contest, junior Aidan Kolbe made his Molloy debut leading the squad with five shots and three shots on goal, sophomore Charlie Morgan totaled two shots with both coming on target, and sophomore Callum Hunt notched five saves.
Holy Family:
  • The Tigers started its season Thursday, September 4 falling to ECC foe Queens College, 6-0.
  • The two teams met last season in Rockville Centre with the Tigers coming away with a 1-0 victory September 17, 2024.
  • Molloy is 5-5 all-time against Holy Family.
Assumption:
  • The Greyhounds kicked off Thursday, September 4 defeating ECC foe Staten Island, 3-1.
  • Axel Gerremo led the squad with a goal and an assist by Evan Fletcher paced with two assists.
  • In last season's matchup, the two programs battled to a scoreless draw October 15, 2024.
  • Molloy is 5-0-3 all-time against Assumption.
Cross Country
Saturday, September 13 at Golden Eagle Invitational – Stony Brook, N.Y.
  • The cross-country teams both opened up the 2025 season at the University of Hartford XC Invitational from Keney Park. The men placed 11th in a field of 15 while the women finished ninth out of 14 teams. 
  • On the men's side, senior James Nichol led with a 5k time of 18:30.8, a personal-best and finishing in 66th place out of 139 runners. Junior Peter Bagattine set a new personal-best time in the 5k at 18:49.9 for 76th-place. 
  • Freshmen MiKai Marks (19:00.3) and John Abad (19:14.5) both debuted inside the top-100 along with senior Matth Rathje (20:18.9). 
  • The women's team saw freshman Martina Mileti make her debut with a 3k time of 12:12.8, good for 23rd overall and fifth among freshmen competitors. 
  • Sophomore Carli Sheiffele followed in 27th out of the field of 117 with a time of 12:19.3. Senior Alaysia Cobb followed with a time of 13:04.2 for 49th-place while freshman Anelisa Fulgieri debuted just outside the top-50 at 13:12.3.
