Colonia, N.J. - After a monster season for the cardinal and white, graduate student Kiarra Roth was selected the East Coast Conference's Player of the Year. In her third season with Molloy, Roth also earns her third-straight All-ECC First Team nod. The nod comes after being tabbed the league's Preseason Player of the Year back in August.

The right side has been an offensive powerhouse for the Lions all season long, totaling a league-leading 430 kills. She ranks ninth in the nation at 1,191 attacks and is in the top-15 in attacks per set (11.68, 10th), kills (12th), and kills per set (4.22, 14th). The Bohemia native reached double digit kills in 23 of 26 contests, including 11 matches with 20 or more kills. A threat both offensively and defensively, Roth ranked fourth on her team in digs at 199 and totaled eight double-doubles on the campaign. 

Having officially completed her collegiate career, Roth departs the Lions with 1041 kills, 591 digs, 125 blocks, 56 aces, and 41 assists. She is the all-time leader in kills per set (3.60) and points per set (4.00) and ranks third all-time in total kills and fourth in total points. 

Her 4.22 kills per set in 2024 is also the best in a single-season at Molloy and she finished 35 kills shy of the single-season kill record.
