West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced its inaugural Weekly Awards for the 2024-25 basketball campaign this afternoon. Sophomore

Sophia Yearwood were named to the Weekly Honor Roll after their performances in the opening weekend.
Matos averaged a staggering 25.5 points per game in the opening weekend, shooting at .514 from the floor. The sophomore opened the campaign with 29 points against Adelphi, shooting 11-of-20 on the evening including three from long distance. He added 22 points the following evening against Pace, adding three boards and two assists.
Yearwood kicked off the season with a 19-point performance against Chestnut Hill. The junior shot 64 percent from the field against the griffins while shooting four-of-five from three-point range. The Northport native appeared against Jefferson, sinking an additional two three-point baskets. On the week, Yearwood averaged 12.5 points per game, shot 60 percent from the floor, and 66 percent from long distance.
