Staten Island, N.Y. – The Molloy women's bowling team hosted the Dezy Strong Baker Tournament at Rabs Country Lanes in Staten Island, N.Y. Sunday afternoon. After five games of baker play, the keglers collected 4,089 pins to average 163.6 to place fifth.
 
How it Happened

• The cardinal and white opened the day against Monmouth University, falling to the Hawks, 917-796.
• In the second match the Lions took on local rival Adelphi. The keglers would fall to the Panthers, 874-796.
• Molloy picked up a victory in the third match, rolling to a 796-608 victory.
• The Lions fought tooth and nail against LIU but would end up falling in a 10-pin match, 867-857.
• The keglers ended the tournament falling to Wagner, 878-844.
