Sinking Spring, Pa. – The Molloy women's bowling team competed at the Golden Bear Invite, hosted by Kutztown University. After two days of competition, the keglers finished eighth collecting 8,708 pins to total a 167.5 average. Junior Emily Kulkarni was named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing fourth in traditional play, averaging 198.4.
 
Day One – Traditional Format

• Molloy opened the tournament with a 897-810 victory over Alvernia University, led by Kulkarni who posted a 202 game.
• After falling to Felician 874-796 in game two, the Lions responded with a 928-818 triumph over Wilmington. Once again, it was Kulkarni leading the charge rolling a high game of 234.
• The cardinal and white would split its final two matches of the afternoon. Falling short to Belmont Abbey, 960-719, before defeating Caldwell, 880-813.
• Molloy sat in eighth place after the first day of competition.

Day Two – Baker Format

• The Lions faced host institution Kutztown to begin Baker play. They would fall to the Bear, 922-825.
• The cardinal and white would rally off three consecutive victories, defeating Holy Family (875-739), Dominican (826-731), and Wagner (860-843) to head into bracket play.
• In the bracket format, the Lions would take on Caldwell in a best-of-seven baker match. After falling behind 2-0, the Lions would battle to even the match at 3-3 before slipping in the deciding seventh game, 4-3, to secure an eighth-place finish.
