West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference released the results of its annual preseason poll Wednesday afternoon. The coaches of the league selected the Lions to finish third in the conference. 
 
Defending champion Daemen was selected first with five first-place votes and 35 points, Mercy finished second with 28 points and one first-place vote, Molloy was third with 25 points, and Queens rounded out the playoff picture with 17 points. 
 
D'Youville (12) and Roberts Wesleyan (9) were selected fifth and sixth respectively. 
 
The maroon and white will begin the 2022 campaign inside Quealy Gymnasium Friday, August 26 as they welcome Nyack College to Rockville Centre at 12:00 p.m.
