Kingston, N.Y. – The women's bowling team competed at the fourth Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Tournament of the season at Patel's Kingston Lanes Sunday afternoon. Through three team games and four Baker sets, Molloy tallied 5971 pins and placed first in the women's division.
The top performances were led by a 210-pin game from freshman
Emily Kulkarni in the first game and a pair of 191 games from Kulkarni and sophomore
Kayla DeJesus in game two. On the JV side, sophomore
Hannah Skalacki put together a 203 performance in game two, while freshman
Jess Pinelli compiled a 195 score in game one.
Five members of the cardinal and white were named to the All-Tournament Team for their showing on the afternoon. Kulkarni knocked down 577 total pins to lead the field while Skalacki finished second with 547 pins. Pinelli (533), DeJesus (533), and senior
Amanda Kreush (513) completed the All-Tournament Team.
Molloy returns to the lanes Saturday, December 3 at the Northeast Classic hosted by William Paterson University in Lodi, N.J.
