West Babylon, N.Y. - Junior Kathleen Doherty was named the East Coast Conference Player of the Week, announced by the league this afternoon. 

Doherty led the Lions this week offensively, averaging 3.38 kills per set with a .313 attack percentage. The outside hitter also averaged 3.50 digs per set, putting up double-doubles against both Mercy (Oct. 27) and Southern Connecticut (Oct. 29). On the week, she added eight assists and one service ace.
