Fairfield, Conn. - The women's bowling team competed at the annual Bowl for a Cure Tournament, hosted by Sacred Heart University at Nutmeg Bowl. Molloy now sits at 3-7 in NCAA competition after the team's first tournament of the 2021-22 campaign. 

Day One - Traditional

• Molloy went 1-4 in traditional play, finishing eighth.
• The day began with a 11-pin triumph over host Sacred Heart University, with freshman Hannah Skalacki shooting a 204 and junior Colleen Kingsepp shooting a 199.
• The maroon and white fell in the next four matches to Kutztown University, St. Francis College Brooklyn and LIU.
• Skalacki finished sixth overall with a pinfall of 955. Junior Amanda Kreush (831) and freshman Dominique DiDomenico (808) both topped 800 pins. 
• In junior varsity action, sophomore Amanda Scarfogliero placed third with 961 pins, including 257 in the first game with partner freshman Jessica Portela, helping the pair to a third-place finish.

 
Day Two – Baker

• The Lions finished the day with a 2-3 record in Baker play, finishing seventh.
• Molloy took down Bloomfield College (899-767) in match two winning four of the five games.
• They fell to Wagner, Monmouth, and Adelphi to start the day before ending the contest with an 887-850 topping of Wagner College. The match's turning point was an 83-pin victory by the Lions in game one. 
• On the JV side, junior Cassidy Syrdale and freshman Alexis Kotanidis bowled a 546.
